Give young people of color more roadmaps for who they can become.

This is a Docu-Series where each episode highlights a person who chose a unique path to their success. (Creatives, Entrepreneurs, Athletes, Thought Leaders)

Genesis:

I immigrated from South Africa to Utah when I was 8 years old. As the only black African girl in my class, I got used to two things: people asking me if I had to fend off wild animals and being acknowledged but not being seen. As an adult, I've realized that so much of who we think we can be is shaped by seeing people like us do it. After all, how are you to hope that you can be a forensic analyst, or a curator, or a director if you have no point of reference to aspire to?

Dr. Sidni Shorter

She will be our first subject in this series, be sure to follow along to see who we get on our series next!
